		<description>You&#039;re going to have to explain your liking of Shapiro... I think his track record is fair at best. He made some very good deals and trades. He&#039;s also made a lot of bad deals and signings. Plus his drafting has been terrible. The only reason the Tribe has a Top 5 farm system is through the acquisition of minor leaguers through the recent trades of 2 Cy Young winners and All-Star catcher.

I would like to think that with a more even playing field (hard salary cap or steeper luxury tax, slotted drafts) that he would have been able to keep or draft better players. But given the circumstances I feel Shapiro has left a lot to be desired from a player personnel stand point.</description>
