I'm more upset that it ends the potential of having the Fu-man-Choo connection in the outfield in 2011. I always ask, "if this guy wasn't on the club at the end of last year would we be looking at him the same way?" With Fukudome, I think it's safe to say that if at any point in the offseason, even now at 500K (Guaranteed 1 mil) someone would've mentioned him as a 4th outfielder type there would be the "he's 35, he's LHB, Dolan's bargain bin basement shopping, etc." all over the place.
