Cleveland found success on the West Coast in the second week of the season. The Indians (8-6) saw their starting pitchers struggle but strong offensive performances carried the team on the road.

Overall, the Indians went 4-2 on a West Coast road trip against the Seattle Mariners (7-10) and Oakland Athletics (8-9).
