You could say the skid continues for the Cleveland Indians, but seeing as  it’s more the status quo at this point, skid would be the wrong word. Guess you could say the beat goes on. The Tribe fell to the Texas Rangers 5-3 Friday night to end August with a 5-24 record, their worst single month of ball since 1914. Ubaldo Jimenez was decent but not good enough against a tough Rangers lineup, and the bats were silenced by Ryan Dempster and the Ranger bullpen.
