- Cody Allen has won a spot in the Tribe’s 2013 bullpen.
- Speaking of relievers, Chris Perez threw a bullpen session this weekend while recovering from a shoulder strain but the timetable for his return is still unclear.
- Meanwhile, Paul Hoynes says Daisuke Matsuzaka is all but out of time to crack Cleveland’s rotation, but the team has yet to make a final decision.
- Rule 5 draftee Chris McGuiness is extremely unlikely to make the Opening Day roster, but Terry Francona hopes the Indians can work out a trade to keep him.
- Hoynes doesn’t think Ezequiel Carrera has much of a chance to make the team either.
