Clevelinks, July 10: An MLB Debut and Trade Possibilities Abound

In the latest edition of Clevelinks, we bring you news of a Major League debut that will happen on Thursday, the possibility of exploring external options for pitching depth and, as always, the latest links from Wahoo’s on First. Keep in mind, it wasn’t easy to find Cleveland Indians links that didn’t make it seem like the sky was falling after the disaster that was the most recent four game series against the Tigers. News flash, people. The Indians will be fine. There are plenty of games left to be played.

Top pitching prospect Danny Salazar will make his big league debut on Thursday against the Blue Jays. The start was originally slated for Carlos Carrasco, but after his most recent disaster the Indians opted to to go in a different direction. Salazar provides that different direction.

The Indians have said they will explore all their options heading towards the nonn-waiver trade deadline. These options are expected to include Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza and Milwaukee Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo.
