Indians Release 25 Man Wild Card Roster

On Wednesday the Cleveland Indians officially announced their 25 man roster for tonight’s AL Wild Card match-up against the Tampa Bay Rays. If the Indians win advance to the ALDS, they will have the opportunity to reset to a more conventional roster.

In a one game, winner take all showdown, the Indians set up their roster accordingly. They will carry 11 pitchers into tonight’s game as well as Matt Carson and Jose Ramirez in place of starters Ubaldo Jimenez and Zach McAllister, neither of who stood any chance of seeing the mound tonight anyway.
