Francona Has Confidence in 2014 Indians

During this week’s annual Winter Meetings, Terry Francona was asked by several media outlets for his take on the Indians, how he feels about his team moving forward, and whether or not the Indians are really serious about possibly trading away Justin Masterson. If we believe Francona, Masterson will be hanging around a little while longer. That’s great news for Tribe fans.

Videos from three separate Francona interviews (four videos total, one of which is simply funny) are now on the internet. One with ESPN and three others through MLB.com. Wahoo’s on First has posted the videos below for your viewing pleasure. What we are able to gather from the interviews is that Francona has a great deal of faith in his team and that they will be better in 2014, he believes in the pitching staff as currently constructed, and genuinely loves being a member of the Cleveland Indians organization. How anyone can listen to him talk and not get excited as well is beyond my level of comprehension.

Anyways, the videos are below. As always, if the video players fail to load, simply refresh the page.
