Fans are Generally Thrilled with Michael Brantley’s Extension

News broke yesterday evening that Michael Brantley and the Indians had agreed on a four-year contract extension. Not soon after that, fans started taking to Twitter to voice their reactions. Generally speaking, mostly everyone sees the extension as a good thing. Brantley has shown tremendous consistency and is a solid piece that could be used by any team. The fact that the Indians were willing to commit to him long-term was seen as a step in the right direction from a fan base that has grown tired of seeing their favorite players leave town for greener pastures.
