Trevor Bauer Continues to Struggle

It’s not secret to anyone that Trevor Bauer is struggling right now. After his most recent outing, it looks like more of what we have come to expect from the one-time top prospect. Mainly, one step forward and then three steps back. That fact isn’t lost anyone, including the Indians manager, Terry Francona.

At a recent press conference, Francona discussed Bauer’s recent outing against the Angels in which he gave up seven hits and six earned runs in just two innings of work. It was very reminiscent of the outing against the White Sox last season that landed him back in Triple-A Columbus. Again, not good. Not good at all. There is a lot of expected from Bauer. After all, he was the centerpiece of the Shin-Soo Choo trade.
