[Video] Chris Archer Reflects On His Time With Indians & Danny Salazar

Chris Archer Learned About Baseball & Life While With Indians

Chris Archer was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 5th round of the 2006 draft but was traded away for Mark DeRosa following the 2008 season.

He says he learned a lot about how to be a pitcher and conduct himself in his time with the Tribe organization. He also learned that baseball is a business and as a player he understands that he is just a pawn.

He also spent time in instructional ball with Michael Brantley, Lonnie Chisenhall, and Danny Salazar. He was most impressed with Salazar who he says was a young skinny kid who threw 88-90 and then had elbow surgery and is now a flamethrower for the Tribe.
