Early today, Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley was named to his 1st All-Star game.  For the moment he is the only member of the Cleveland Indians to make the team; however, fans have the chance to change that. Corey Kluber has been named to the All-Star Game Final Vote.  He is joined on the ballot by fellow AL Starting Pitchers Chris Sale (White Sox), Garrett Richards (Angels), Rick Porcello (Tigers), and Dallas Keuchel (Astros).  The voting  is now underway and Tribe fans can vote for Kluber here.

Voting ends at 4pm EST on Thursday, July 10th. Fans may also vote via text message.  For Corey Kluber text “A2” to the number 89269.  Be sure to vote early and vote often.

In addition to voting for Corey Kluber, be sure to vote for Justin Morneau of the Colorado Rockies. He is one of five position players selected to the NL vote.  The Indians and Rockies are teaming up with a #ClevelandRox vote to try and get both players voted in.  It may seem a bit silly, but I’m all for two of the smaller markets trying to help each other out and getting their hometown players elected.  Besides, Cleveland does rock.

A third way to vote is via twitter on Thursday July 10th between 10am and 4pm. Use #VoteKluber to vote for Kluber during that time.
