Francisco Lindor played in his third Futures Game on Sunday afternoon at Target Field. The Indians’ “shortstop of the future” went 0-for-2 before being replaced by Chicago Cubs’ shortstop, or some other position since Starlin Castro is there now, of the future Javier Baez, who belted a two-run home run after coming in for the slick-fielding Lindor.
So, what was his experience like today, you ask – we have it here:
An interview with MLB Network prior to the game about international baseball and what his popularity and success means to others in Latin America:

Fox Sports’ Jon Morosi also interviewed Lindor prior to the game about what he thinks of his season and where he needs to improve:
Lindor’s interviews are full of maturity and he seems like he’ll make for a huge upgrade defensively while being a great teammate. Our own Matt Bretz took a look at when we could see Lindor in Cleveland earlier today, so don’t forget to check that out, and all of our Francisco Lindor material during the upcoming All-Star break.
