C.C. Lee Returns To Indians For Weekend Series In Detroit

A few faces have already surfaced in Detroit as the Cleveland Indians prepare for their four game series against the Tigers beginning Friday night.

Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer was at the Indians workout at Comerica Park and reports that relieve C.C. Lee is with the club which indicates that he will be added to the active roster (unofficial).

Additionally, Zach McAllister is also with the club and appears that he will be the 26th man and start one game of the twin bill scheduled for Saturday (unofficial).

This will be C.C. Lee’s second time to be on the Indians active 25-man roster. He made the team out of spring training and appeared in 13 games allowing six earned runs in 11.2 innings while striking out 11 and walking just three.

He was sent to the Indians Triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers on May 17th and has appeared in 20 games allowing 11 earned runs in 24 innings while striking out 28 batters and walking eight.
