Ramsey Blast Homer #14 &First With Indians Organization
The Florida State grad and 2012 first round pick (23rd overall) had hit 13 home runs while playing for the Cardinals Double-A affiliate Springfield squad to go along with an overall slash line of .300/.389/.527.
After being acquired by the Indians the front office made the decision to challenge him and assigned him to their Triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers.
His introduction to a new organization and a new level has gotten off to a slow start as he is batting just .160 (4 for 25) on the year. A bit of good news came last night against the New York Yankees Triple-A affiliate Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders where he went 2 for 4 with a double and two home runs (his first as a member of the Indians organization).
