It appears as if Yan Gomes, currently on the 7-day concussion list, could be ready to return to the lineup Friday night when the Tribe takes on the Kansas City Royals  (Video Courtesy Cleveland.com).

"“Yan is having a really good day, His eyes look a lot clearer.” Francona said.  “I don’t want to be unfair to him, but I’d surprised if he’s not raring to go by Friday and Friday is his day.  Unless he has a setback, he should be ready Friday.” – cleveland.com"

David Murphy is travelling with the team and is taking swings off a tee as he returns to baseball activity. Although he appears ahead of schedule the plan has not been altered and an expected mid-September return is anticipated.

"“I’m starting to do baseball activities more and more and at that point they said I could travel,” said Murphy. “I still don’t know how close I am to a rehab assignment.” – cleveland.com"
