Podcast: Wahoo's on the Mic with Buster Olney

The Cleveland Indians will square off this weekend in a Midwest Showdown against the AL Central-leading Kansas City Royals. The Indians find themselves still in the playoff hunt, and Sunday’s game between the two teams will be featured on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball telecast.

In anticipation of the series, special guest Buster Olney, senior baseball writer for ESPN the Magazine, ESPN.com and sideline reporter for Sunday Night Baseball, sat down with Wahoo’s on the Mic’s Ed Carroll (unfortunately without co-hosts Merritt and Nick) to discuss both the series, and the playoff chances for both teams. Listen in to hear what Buster thinks regarding Corey Kluber in a potential one-game playoff, if he feels managers will play a factor in September, his thoughts on the Indians young rotation, and much more.

In addition to his work on ESPN, you can follow Olney on Twitter at @Buster_ESPN, and you can follow the Wahoo’s on the Mic wise men Merritt Rohlfing (@merrittrohlfing), Nick Houghtaling (@30xtra) and Ed Carroll (@edtherevelator) as well.
