Who: Los Angeles Angels (87-55, 1st place in AL West) @ Cleveland Indians (74-67, 5 games back of AL Central, 3.5 back of AL Wild Card)

What: One game makeup from June 18th postponement

Where: Progressive Field, Cleveland OH

When: 1:05 PM

Probables: Danny Salazar (6-6, 3.80) vs Jered Weaver (15-8, 3.56)

What to watch for: Salazar is coming off his first career complete game shutout and riding a 17-inning scoreless streak heading into today’s game. With two hits on Sunday, Michael Brantley is hitting .413 during his current 11-game hitting streak. David Murphy returned from his injury on Friday in a big way, hitting a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning. The Indians are on a three game winning streak after getting their brooms out against the Chicago White Sox over the weekend.

The Angels own the best record in baseball and are firing on all cylinders as of late. Mike Trout has been doing his best impression of 2012 and 2013 Mike Trout, tallying his 32nd long ball and bringing his RBI total to 102 on Sunday. He is hitting .400 with two homers and seven RBI against the Indians this season. The Angels as a whole scored 34 runs and hit .340 in their four game sweep of the Twins over the weekend. Weaver is looking for win number 16 which would put him alone atop the American League.
