Clevelinks: Indians No Longer The Underdog; Division Previews And More

facebooktwitterreddit

Many Cleveland Indians fans have become acclimated to the “underdog” role. It’s an easier one to embrace than the favorite role. Not as much expectation, less pressure. This year, that’s not going to be the case. The Tribe come in well-regarded, and David Schoenfield even sees them as the No. 4 team in the league (Best in the AL). Buckle up Cleveland, this is going to be a hell of a year.

Our Katrina Putnam is continuing her look at the competition in the AL Central, and most recently looked at the AL Central Kansas City Royals, who have seen some changes this winter. Most notably, James Shields is gone, as well as slugger Billy Butler. And although the Royals may not be as strong, they’re still a formidable opponent.

Trevor Bauer continues to show off his smarts, as he snapped some pics of Spring Training with his homemade drone (or quadcopter). Bauer built it from the ground up, refusing to purchase a prefabricated model. The process wasn’t always smooth, as he crashed it twice. But still, raise your hand if you’ve built a homemade drone? Ok..now if you’re a Major League pitcher? Yep, exactly.
