It was a “better” start for the Cleveland Indians

. Check that, terrible start–decent outing. The Kansas City Royals jumped on him early, just as most teams have and had done enough damage before he was able to settle in and pitch better.

The Royals Edinson Volquez had a shaky performance, walking six in total in his three innings, including three straight in the third to push across two runs for the Tribe, making it 4-3. The bullpen of the Royals however, was sharp allowing just one run in six innings of relief. The Indians gave Kluber a little more support, but not much. Michael Bourne, Jose Ramirez, and Roberto Perez are all hitting sub .200. Something has to change.

The Yankees Alex Rodriguez moved into sole possession of fourth place on the all-time home run list after hitting his 661st against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night. The top five of the list is now a cloudy situation, as many won’t consider Barry Bonds and Rodriguez as legitimate records. The debate will continue.
