Tribe fall; No Indians lead on ballot

There was no lack of opportunity for the Cleveland Indians in their 4-3 loss to the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. The Tribe consistently failed to drive in runs with runners in scoring position, wasting a solid start from

Danny Salazar

, although not a quality one. He allowed three runs in 5 2/3 inning, allowing a three-run home run to the on-fire Price Fielder, but the bullpen would again let the Indians down.

Nick Hagadone allowed a solo home run to Mitch Moreland, giving the Rangers a 4-3 lead. The Tribe still had a chance in the ninth as Jason Kipnis reached on an error, but per their recent struggles, Kipnis went nowhere as the Indians lost their second straight.

How can you not be talking Jason Kipnis with the month he’s had? Unfortunately, Kipnis failed to crack the top-5 in the first release of AL All-Star balloting. So make sure to vote for your favorite Tribe players. Our Kyle Downing breaks down his hot May, only solidifying that he needs to be an All-Star.

To make it more frustrating? Division foe Kansas City has five Royals in the first release of voting. So do you want your midsummer classic to be filled with Royal blue? No, no you don’t. Let’s get to voting.
