Clevelinks: Clint Frazier Is Crushing Arizona Fall League Pitching

Cleveland Indians outfield prospect Clint Frazier is destroying the ball in the Arizona Fall League, putting on a show for the Scottsdale Scorpions. So far, Frazier is hitting .356/.431/.600, with three home runs. He’s certainly been impressive, and when combined with the hot second half he had to end the regular season, this could be a promising sign for Frazier.

The 21-year old outfielder is ranked second in the Tribe’s system, but is also ranked 35th overall. He could be a key part of the Indians’ future, and with any luck, he’s finally beginning to develop into a more complete player. Of course, the AFL is a notoriously hitter-friendly park, and that’s something to keep in mind when looking at his stats.

The Tribe’s other minor leaguer hitters who are playing with the Scorpions haven’t been nearly as hot as Frazier. Infielder Yandy Diaz is batting .267/.333/.330, and catcher Jeremy Lucas has hit just .263/.300/.263.
