Until the season begins, things can change. But after all of the Cleveland Indians rumors, who they should sign–or wouldn’t–it’s time for baseball.

It’s finally here. No matter what your expectations are of the Cleveland Indians this year, it’s still better than suffering through watching the Browns. The greatest game is about to returns, and pitchers and catchers reporting is just the start. Winter is coming to a close, and seeing baseball–even if it’s somewhere warm where you aren’t–it’s a good sign.

More from Away Back Gone

Our newest staff writer Ryan Dewulf takes a look at Mike Napoli and what he might–or might not–mean to the Indians offense. Napoli looked to be on the tail end of his career, but s strong stretch in 2015 earned him a deal with the Tribe. Now it’s a question of if he’ll be a bargain or fall under the category of free agent bust like the rest.

Belief in the Indians may actually extend outside of Cleveland this year, even if the Indians fell victim to the Sports Illustrated curse last season. Can the Indians top the Royals for the AL Central title? The Washington Post thinks so. Defending champ be damned, the Indians have enamored many with their pitching, and if the offense can make strides nothing is impossible.
