The first-place Cleveland Indians welcome the Houston Astros to Progressive Field for an important four-game series before divisional play begins.

The Cleveland Indians are rolling again.

The Indians are rebounding from their 2-5 West Coast road trip with a six-game winning streak, which has encompassed sweeps of both the Minnesota Twins and Miami Marlins. The Indians now welcome the Houston Astros to Progressive Field for a four-game series.

The Astros are right in the thick of the AL Wild Card race, so expect them to play their hardest every game. The Astros are just two games behind the Detroit Tigers for the last Wild Card spot in the American League, while the Indians currently lead the Detroit Tigers by 5.5 games in the American League Central.

Detroit starts a three-game series against the White Sox today, so expect both the Indians and Astros to do a little bit of scoreboard watching down the stretch.
