The Cleveland Indians welcomed all three Cleveland Browns first-round picks to Progressive Field Friday night, giving fans a first glimpse of the trio.

The Cleveland Browns have clogged the local airwaves the past few days as the 2017 NFL Draft continues to bring hope to Browns fans all over Northeast Ohio.

The Indians got in on the draft excitement and welcomed three of the newest Browns to Progressive Field Friday night.

It is a cool tradition to have the newest Browns come throw out the first pitch at an Indians game. Not only does it allow fans to see the most high-profile new Browns players, but it is a great welcome to Cleveland for the young men.

The draft is a time full of excitement for fans and players alike, so it makes sense to keep the fun going and let the players take in an Indians game for one night. That, or get into an intimate dance-off with Slider.

The excitement from before first pitch was about all fans had to cheer about Friday night, as the Indians couldn’t do much in a 3-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners.

Carlos Carrasco pitched eight solid innings, but it was yet another frustrating night for Indians fans.

Yet while it was a frustrating night, Indians fans know the team still remains one of the top contenders in the American League.

The same doesn’t hold true for Indians fans who are also Browns fans, as the most excitement from the year may come from the NFL Draft. Regardless, it was fun to see some new faces on the Browns come to town and be welcomed at Progressive Field.
