The Cleveland Indians are in the midst of another successful season, meaning they will be well-represented at this year’s MLB All-Star Game.

The 2017 MLB All-Star Game is just a few weeks away and the Cleveland Indians should be well-represented at the event. Terry Francona is already set to be the manager, and several Indians are near the top of the fan voting.

There isn’t a single Indians player in first place in the fan voting as of right now, but there are several close, and even if they can’t overcome the deficit, there are reserve roles waiting for those players.

The pitchers are not included in fan voting, and there are several Indians pitchers who should be locks to make this team.

This All-Star Game is the first one that has gone back to the old ways of being an exhibition after deciding home-field advantage in the World Series for over a decade. The Indians were beneficiaries of that process a year ago, but it wasn’t the most fair way to decide such an important thing.

Regardless, the All-Star Game is an important event, as it puts players on the national stage to show off their abilities. And while the Indians haven’t had a consistent start, the team is filled with several players who fans can expect to see in this year’s game.
