The run includes both of last season’s winners, <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/d/dicker.01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">R.A. Dickey</a></strong> on Opening Day and a thumping of <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/priceda01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">David Price</a></strong> in Tampa, as well as superstars in <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/v/verlaju01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Justin Verlander</a></strong> and retreads like <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/colonba01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Bartolo Colon</a></strong>, who is a shadow of his former self. It’s quite a shadow. The one loss? Of course, it’s to <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/peavyja01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Jake Peavy</a></strong> of the Chicago White Sox. A guy who reconstructed his shoulder gets the better of a team that thumped the King and Verlander. Sometimes the Sox just don’t know when to get out of the way.</p>
<p dir="ltr">What does this mean? Any number of things. Maybe the guys were lucky that day. Maybe Felix and Verlander and Price and everyone else were just flat that time around. whatever it was, and including Peavy, the Cy Youngers hold a combined 8.20 ERA against Cleveland along with a lot of frowny faces. Let’s see how they did it. <a href="http://wahoosonfirst.com/2013/05/23/an-analysis-of-the-indians-success-against-the-cy-young-army/#more-8202" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<p>The latest edition of WotM sees three brilliant gentlemen break down a brilliant week of Indians baseball. The victory over <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/hernafe02.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Felix Hernandez</a></strong> puts the Tribe at 7-1 on the season against former <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/y/youngcy01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Cy Young</a></strong> winners, not to mention how integral <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/masteju01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Justin Masterson</a></strong> has been in some of those wins. Speaking of which, he&#8217;s awesome. Also, Ed love <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/bournmi01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Michael Bourn</a></strong>, Nick loves <strong><a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=lindor000fra&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-wahoosonfirst.com" target="_blank">Francisco Lindor</a></strong>&#8216;s makeup, and everyone loves Skaggs, the renegade cop who does things his way and also the pitcher for the Diamondbacks. Is it the best show yet? Maybe!</p>

The Cleveland Indians man, they have become a monster and I don’t know if Cleveland or anywhere can handle them. From a beast of a Jamaican leading the rotation (and going toe to toe with King Felix and winning!) to names big, small and unknown coming through in the moments, what’s to hate? Besides an overuse of cream uniforms?</p>
<p dir="ltr">But just because the Indians are 18-4 in their last 22 games, this doesn’t mean it’s time to sit back and reminisce. Even with a 2.5 game lead over the preseason favorite Detroit Tigers, it’s never too early to make a little space, and another one of those two game quick shots that keep happening is another chance. <a href="http://wahoosonfirst.com/2013/05/21/series-preview-cleveland-indians-vs-detroit-tigers-5/#more-8174" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>
