Josh Tomlin pulled together another strong outing and Asdrubal Cabrera came through with some genuine bat magic as the Indians got a walkoff extra-inning win Tuesday night at Progressive Field, beating the Reds 3-2. The win improves the Tribe’s record to 35-32, which thanks to the White Sox’ 2-1 loss at Wrigley Field puts Cleveland back in first place in the AL Central. (more…)

For the first two months of the 2012 season, the Indians looked like one of the best teams in the American League, if not all of baseball. Since then, it’s been a completely different story. When they hit, they don’t pitch. When they pitch, they don’t hit. Then there are the games with they do both relatively well and the defense falls apart. Needless to say, they’re having a rough go of things right now and they’re about to get a whole lot tougher. (more…)

Tribe Gets Swept as Reds Clobber Indians 12-5

The Indians’ offense finally came alive Thursday afternoon, but the Reds battered Josh Tomlin and Scott Barnes and Cleveland’s bats couldn’t keep up with Cincinnati’s as the Reds creamed the Tribe, 12-5, to complete the sweep in the first round of the Ohio Cup. (more…)
