Welcome to Wahoo's on First, the Cleveland Indians news and opinions site brought to you by the FanSided Network. Wahoo's on First is dedicated to providing top-notch Indians news, views and original content. This site also serves as a community for like-minded fans to come together to catch up on the latest news and to discuss their passion.
Kyle is a born and raised Clevelander, currently residing in Texas while getting his Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Houston. He grew up with the Indians and is happy to finally have an outlet for writing about them. Kyle has lived and acted in 8 different states, but always manages to watch and root for his home team.
Brian is a die hard fan of all things Cleveland. He was a 2002 graduate of Benedictine High School (Cleveland) who went on to receive a business degree from Ohio Northern University in 2006 and an MBA from John Carroll University in 2008. After four long years spent in New Orleans, he's back in Ohio, this time Columbus. You can follow Brian on Twitter @WahoosBrian
Merritt is a never-say-die Indians fan who's only ever been to Cleveland twice, one of them was game 5 of the 2007 ALCS, the other the last season of Municipal Stadium. Due to a wonderful indoctrination job by his godfather, few things matter more to Merritt than the Indians. He also regularly writes and podcasts over at the Rohlfing Report. As a graduate of Knox college and with a resume full of media and journalism gigs, Merritt is totally legitimate and you should listen to every word he has to say as if it's gospel. You can follow him on Twitter @merrittrohlfing. Expect sandwich thoughts.
23 years old. Born and raised in Willoughby, Ohio. Graduated from Willoughby South High School and went on to St. Bonaventure University (Go Bonnies), where I played baseball and graduated from in 2013. I have since moved down to Charlotte, North Carolina and realized two things: how absolutely ridiculous the MLB Blackout restrictions are, and how expensive MLB.tv is. A fan of all Cleveland sports teams, Ohio State football and basketball, and Liverpool Football Club.
A life-long Cleveland Indians fan, Ed Carroll actually lives in Cleveland, and is happy to offer his (unsolicited) opinions on the Tribe with a healthy side of snark and strikethrough. He's a Twitter addict (@EdTheRevelator) who loves the Cleveland Cavaliers, Muppets and video games (mainly PlayStation). In addition to his work on Wahoo's on First, Ed is a feature writer for Fansided MLB, and a co-host of the Wahoo's on the Mic podcast (if you're listening, he's probably the one complaining right now). #smallballsucks
Born and raised in Cleveland Heights I developed a love for the Cleveland Indians and baseball that has remained with me for 35+ years. In 1988 I transferred from Cleveland State to the University of South Florida in Tampa and immediately began to follow the Rays. Despite my passion for the Rays I still follow the Indians with as much fervor today as I did when I packed up the car and headed south in 1998.
Andrew is a junior in high school. He lives in the Philadelphia region and converted to an Indians fan at a young age.
Michael Chaney is 16 years old and is a junior at Carlisle High School in Pennsylvania. Michael was actually born in Ohio (he's from Chardon), but moved when he was 3 years old. He is a fan of two things: Cleveland sports and buffalo wings, though he enjoys when his parents question his taste in music as well. He plays baseball for his high school's team, and while most of his tools grade a 2 on the 2/8 scale, he likes to say that he has "intangibles." (He plays first base, which is further than he'll ever get with a girl.) He enjoys long walks on the beach, and hopes that saying so might help him find a girlfriend. He plans to study Sports Management and/or Business in college, and dreams of becoming the General Manager of a major league team someday. Michael can be found on Facebook declining game requests, and you can follow him on Twitter (@MChaney317).
Being born and raised in Parma, Ohio, the Cleveland Indians of the 1990's stole Brian's summers during the prime of his childhood years and forever shaped his fervor for the team. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College, now University, in 2007 with degrees in Broadcasting/Mass Communication and Political Science. He went on to graduate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2010. Being frustrated at his legal career's success of suffocating passion from his writing, he relishes the opportunity to write for Wahoo's on First.
I was born and raised in Parma Heights as an avid Indians fan, and I love baseball more than just about anything. I'm a journalism & communications major, hoping to eventually work in media relations for a MiLB or MLB team.
I have been following Cleveland sports since the late 60's, which means I have sat through approximately six thousand losses, all of which were completely unexpected. When I am not punishing myself with sports I enjoy reading, cycling, and music.
I'm Evan and I am a teacher, father, husband and writer, not necessarily in that order. I have my own blog through MLBlogs (http://thebaseballhaven.mlblogs.com/), where I write about all things baseball, beyond my work with Wahoo's on First. I am a baseball junkie and I study players from the minors to the majors, looking and hoping to find the next superstar for my keeper league. Follow me on Twitter (EvanVogelTweets) to see my random thoughts and what I find interesting in social media.
Jeremy Klein is an unabashed Cleveland Sports fan that believes deep down that a Cleveland team will win a championship in his lifetime. Jeremy is currently at The Ohio State University working towards his bachelor’s degree in business with a specialization in marketing. Jeremy is a die-hard Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, and Buckeyes fan that also has a newfound passion for Premier League soccer, Chelsea being his club of choice. When not viewing random baseball games to watch the players on his fantasy team, Jeremy can be found playing FIFA on his Xbox 360 and generally making a fool of himself around the campus area.
Stephen Adams is a sports writer/blogger for Wahoo's On First. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a BA in History and Political Science. In 2012, he graduated from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, FL, and currently resides in Cleveland, OH. In the legal field, his focus centers around property law as well as oil and gas law. With a strong passion for baseball, Steve Adams also coaches freshman baseball at St. Edward High School. As a Cleveland sports fan, there hasn't been much to cheer for in the past, but the winds are shifting, the clouds are moving out, and the sun is beginning to shine as Cleveland is becoming the center of the sports world again! Go Tribe!
29 year old Tribe fan currently living South Carolina. Hailing from Cuyahoga Falls and former downtown Cleveland resident. An Engineer by trade and a graduate of The University of Toledo. Loves all things Cleveland, especially the beer and sports. Movie Lover. Tech Fanatic. Can talk sports all day. Can be followed on Twitter @MattB_WOF.
Adam was born a baby. He has since matured into a slightly taller baby who is a fan of the Cleveland Indians & requires at least an hour of Tribe interaction a day.
Jason is a graduate of Kent State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in English. He's a Cleveland sports fan through and through, but isn't afraid to criticize the teams he loves to root for. He's married to his best friend and sounding board Aleisha. You can follow him on Twitter: @thejasonstout

From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
